Lakeport Police logs: Monday, Dec. 28

2:08 a.m. – Traffic stop. Officer Norm Taylor initiated activity at Clear Lake Avenue and Pool Street. Warning given.

 

11:54 a.m. – Problem with a subject. Det. Destry Henderson responded to Martin Street residence. The caller’s caregiver took the caller’s cigarettes and left; the caller sounds confused. General services rendered.

 

12:02 p.m. – Civil complaint. Det. Destry Henderson responded to call regarding a lost cell phone. The caller’s adult son lost his cell phone in Lakeport sometime in the last two weeks and wants an officer to go with her to confront the subject who took it. The phone was not reported stolen. Gone on arrival.

 

1:40 p.m. – Theft up to $400. Deputy Justin Newton responded to Scotts Valley Road. The caller says her cell phone was stolen from a residence on 11th Street and is en route to the Lakeport Police Department. Civil assist.

 

6:14 p.m. – Suspicious person. Sgt. Jason Ferguson and Deputy Glenn Capurro responded to McDonald’s, Todd Road. A male subject was in the dining room for an hour, talking to himself and his father, “Satan”; making the customers nervous. The caller was asked to leave and was last seen in the parking lot stopping cars from leaving the drive thru. Gone on arrival.

 

6:23 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle. Sgt. Jason Ferguson initiated activity at Parallel Drive and Todd Road. Checks OK; help is on the way.

 

8:26 p.m. – Followup. Officer Norm Taylor initiated activity at Lakeport Police Department, N. Forbes Street. General services rendered.
