11:03 a.m. – Traffic stop. Officer Jim Bell initiated activity at Grocery Outlet, S. Main Street. Warning given.


11:17 a.m. – Followup. Officer Jim Bell initiated activity at Kmart, S. Main Street. Report taken.


12:54 p.m. – Lost property. A caller from Upper Lake reported lost or stolen identification taking place at St. Mary Immaculate. Referred to another agency; it's in the sheriff’s district.


5:44 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances. A caller is in the Safeway parking lot. Someone left a suspicious package lodged in her vehicle door handle while she was in the store. She believes it is her ex, against whom she has a temporary restraining order. General services rendered.


5:47 p.m. – Health and safety other violations. Sgts. Dale Stoebe and Jason Ferguson responded to UPS, Craig Street, regarding a package with marijuana. Report taken.


6:01 p.m. – Pedestrian check. Sgt. Jason Ferguson initiated activity at Lakeport Police Department, N. Forbes Street. Report taken.


6:43 p.m. – Vehicle code/other offenses. Sgt. Jason Ferguson responded to a report of a vehicle parked in a handicap spot at Safeway, 11th Street. The store has tried to page the customer with no response. Gone on arrival.


7:39 p.m. – Traffic stop. Sgt. Jason Ferguson initiated activity at Safeway, 11th Street. Warning given.


7:58 p.m. – Suspicious person. Officer Jarvis Leishman and Sgt. Jason Ferguson responded to Safeway, 11th Street. An employee reports that four adult males, two adult females, two puppies and a big dog are homeless, standing in front of the store, asking customers for money and then using the money to purchase alcohol. The caller believes they may be associated with the attack on the man last night. The subjects are camping out behind the store in the hills, but currently near the front door and the customers and employees do not feel safe. Gone on arrival.


8:46 p.m. – Wireless 911 hang up. Officer Jarvis Leishman and Deputy Jacob Steely responded to Pierce Street, Nice. A male subject advised someone needed to come out due to the beating of a 2-year-old child. General services rendered.
