Lakeport Police logs: Monday, Nov. 29

8:37 a.m. – Fraud. Officer Jim Bell responded to Bruno’s Foods, Lakeport Boulevard, regarding a fraudulent check. General services rendered.


9:31 a.m. – Family disturbance. Officers Jim Bell and Stephanie Green responded to a report of a heated verbal altercation between a male and a female, and including a small child on Ashe Street. General services rendered.


10:24 a.m. – Family disturbance. Officer Jim Bell responded to a report of a 14-year-old threatening his 16-year-old brother with a knife on Ninth Street. The responsible threw the knife down and the older son walked into it, cutting his foot. Subject has mental health problems and history of violence toward family members. Report taken.


11:34 a.m. – Officer Jim Bell responded to report of loud music coming from residence on N. Lakeview. General services rendered.


1:05 p.m. – Vehicle code/other offenses. Officer Jim Bell initiated activity at Hartley and 14th streets. General services rendered.


1:21 p.m. – Shoplifter. Officer Jim Bell responded to report of adult male detained at Kmart, S. Main Street, for shoplifting. Report taken.


2:29 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances. Lakeport Senior Center, Konocti Avenue, reported a male subject possibly impersonating an officer last night.


4:38 p.m. – Penal code/other offenses. Officer Jim Bell and Sgt. Jason Ferguson initiated activity at N. Main and Fourth streets. Arrest made.


5:03 p.m. – Contempt of court. Sgt. Kevin Odom responded to request by Victim Witness, Second Street, for contact regarding a subject at the office, asking employees to give a message to his estranged wife, in violation of the current restraining order. The subject left, en route to Sayre Street, to pick up their children. Report taken.


7:45 p.m. – Civil complaint. Sgt. Kevin Odom and Officer Norm Taylor responded to Lupoyoma Circle. The caller says people have moved into his rental without his permission. Civil assist.


10:04 p.m. – Threats. Officer Norm Taylor responded to report of a threat to the caller from her sister, on Lupoyoma Circle. General services rendered.
