Lakeport Police logs: Monday, Nov. 1

12:10 a.m. – Traffic stop. Officers Richard Lamm and Norm Taylor initiated activity at N. Main and Ninth streets. Warning given.


2:29 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle. Officers Richard Lamm and Norm Taylor responded to an anonymous report of a truck parked in the alley on 13th Street. This is not a normal place to park and the caller would like it checked out. Warning given.


11:07 a.m. – Traffic stop. Officer Destry Henderson initiated activity at Highway 29 and Lakeport Boulevard. Warning given.


4:15 p.m. – Followup. Officer Destry Henderson initiated activity at Sylar Lane. Report taken.


4:39 p.m. – Mental illness/detention. Officers Richard Lamm and Norm Taylor responded to report on Martin Street. The caller stated that she wants to hurt her health worker, who is not on scene. She also said that she has scratched up her own arms with her fingernails and wants to be evaluated by Mental Health. General services rendered.


5:53 p.m. – Health and safety other violations. Officers Richard Lamm and Norm Taylor responded to UPS, Craig Avenue, regarding report of package with marijuana. General services rendered.


6:23 p.m. – Vehicle code/other offenses. Officers Richard Lamm and Norm Taylor responded to N. High Street, regarding a report of a second vehicle parked in a no parking area. Warning given.


9:30 p.m. – Civil complaint. Sgt. Kevin Odom and Deputy Mauricio Barreto responded to Sixth and N. High streets, for a civil standby. Citizens assist.
