Lakeport Police logs: Tuesday, Aug. 24

2:17 a.m. – Noise disturbance. Anonymous male at Full Throttle Tavern, S. Main Street, heard a group of people around the bar being very loud, ongoing issue. Gone on arrival.


7:53 a.m. – Shoplifter. Officer Jim Bell responds to Bruno’s Food, Lakeport Boulevard, on report of a male who stole some Hostess pastries. Described as a white male, 30 years old, 6 feet 3 inches tall, thin build, black hair, last seen wearing striped green coat, dark jeans. Report taken.


8:04 a.m. – Malicious mischief vandalism to yard decorations on 15th Street. General services rendered.


11:41 a.m. – Traffic stop. Officer Jim Bell initiated activity at Grocery Outlet, S. Main Street. Warning.


2:44 p.m. – Warrant services. Deputy Justin Newton and Police Chief Kevin Burke initiated activity at Lake County Sheriff’s Department, Martin Street. Arrest made.


3:45 p.m. – Problem with a subject. Officer Destry Henderson and Sgt. Dale Stoebe respond to Wells Fargo Bank, 11th Street, regarding a subject causing a problem. Person is currently at the desk in the front teller line; was irate, no mention of threats. Report taken.


5:06 p.m. – Theft up to $400. Kmart, S. Main Street, reports grab and run; unknown loss; lots of clothes; witnessed being taken and then drove away. Suspect vehicle is blue Oldsmobile four-door, 80-S or 90-S model. General services rendered; checked the area.


11:44 p.m. – Be on the lookout. California Highway Patrol reported a driver under the influence, erratic breaking. Last seen southbound on Highway 29 and Lakeport Boulevard. General services rendered.
