12:04 a.m. – Illegal entry. Officer Norm Taylor, Sgt. Dale Stoebe and Deputy Corey Paulich responded to Professional Event Services temporary security employee who reports two males are on the Piedmont Lumber property, S. Main Street, refusing to leave. Subjects also were inside the fenced area on the opposite side of the building. General services rendered.


9:01 a.m. – Theft of a laptop reported taken from a woman's unlocked vehicle at Lake County Cleaners, N. Main Street. Report taken.


11:34 a.m. – Commercial burglary. Officer Jim Bell responded to a report of a burglary to classrooms at Natural High School, N. Main St. Report taken.


11:34 a.m. – Pedestrian check. Sgt. Jason Ferguson and Officer Jim Bell initiated activity at N. Main and Fifth streets. Report taken.


12:06 p.m. – Sgt. Jason Ferguson and Officer Jim Bell respond to caller at Willow Wash, 11th Street, who reports a female who appears to be under the influence of a controlled substance was yelling at him and causing a problem. Subject described as a white female, thin, late 40s, wearing a white visor and shorts; now walking toward Safeway. Report taken.


12:26 p.m. – Traffic stop. Officer Jim Bell initiated activity at Manzanita and 10th streets. Warning.


12:52 p.m. – Receiving stolen property. Transient at Willow Point Resort, First Street, wants to report he has some stolen merchandise from Kmart that he got from someone else. Arrest made.


2:36 p.m. – Traffic stop. Officer Jim Bell initiated activity at N. Forbes and Fifth streets. Arrest made; released on a cite.


3:36 p.m. – Followup. Officer Jim Bell initiated activity at N. Main and Second streets. Report taken.


4:37 p.m. – Health and safety other violations. Sgt. Kevin Odom responded to UPS, Craig Avenue, on a report of a package with marijuana in it. Report taken.


5:10 p.m. – Followup. Sgt. Kevin Odom initiated activity at UPS Store, Craig Avenue. Report taken.


8:17 p.m. – Noise disturbance. Ongoing issue with neighbor’s swamp cooler being too noisy, Armstrong Street. General services rendered.


8:22 p.m. – Welfare check. Sgt. Kevin Odom and Officer Norm Taylor respond to Chevron, S. Main Street, on a report of a white male adult who took a child from white female adult. They were arguing while walking. Arrest made.


11:37 p.m. – Traffic stop. Officers Norm Taylor and Sgt. Kevin Odom initiated activity at Highway 29 and Highland Springs Road. Attempting to overtake a blue newer model Honda. Moving violation citation.
