Lakeport Police logs: Monday, June 14

3:26 a.m. – Deputies Mauricio Barreto and Christopher Fisher and Officer Richard Santor initiated activity at Clear Lake High School on Lange Street. Closed as suspect came in as they were heading to the school. General services rendered.


3:26 a.m. – Security check. Deputies Mauricio Barreto and Christopher Fisher and Officer Richard Santor respond to resident on Anastasia Street who reports several cars parked on Hartley Road and juveniles are headed toward the dug out in the field at Clear Lake High School. General services rendered.


9:09 a.m. – Vehicle code/other offenses. Officers Jarvis Leishman and Norm Taylor respond to gray 2010 Chevy four-door that is parked in middle of street at the Lake County Courthouse on Forbes Street. Trunk is open with no one around. Parking citation.


10:37 a.m. – Officer Jarvis Leishman respond to 911 call. Elderly female, sounding confused, said she was not having an emergency; was trying to call her son for gaslight; forgot why she was calling son, but sounded like she was crying. General services rendered.


10:59 a.m. – LPD animal control issue. Officer Jarvis Leishman responds to report from anonymous caller in front of Kmart on South Main Street regarding a canine inside the cab of a Blue 2005 Chevy Z71, in front of the front doors, next to the disabled slot. Gone on arrival; contacted the caller.


12:44 p.m. – Penal code/other offenses. Officer Jarvis Leishman responds to counter report at Lakeport Police Department on North Forbes Street. Civil assist.


2:13 p.m. – Traffic stop. Officers Norm Taylor and Jarvis Leishman initiated activity at Anastasia Drive and Hartley Street. One detained. Moving violation citation.


3:03 p.m. – Officers Norm Taylor and Jarvis Leishman respond to situation on N. High Street. Subject is yelling at a neighbor over a vehicle. Gone on arrival.


3:42 p.m. – Fraud. Someone used the caller's account at Handy Auto Supply on S. Main Street. Report taken.


4:47 p.m. – Missing person adult. Officer Destry Henderson responds to report from caregiver who lost subject about 20 minutes ago, while shopping at CVS Pharmacy on 11th Street. Subject is schizophrenic, has the mentality of a child and is not traffic smart. Described as 59 year old white female, 5’5”, 190 pounds, dark red and brown hair, blue top. General services rendered.


5:26 p.m. – California Highway Patrol reported possible drunk driver in white Chevrolet sedan on Lakeport Boulevard, weaving unable to maintain one lane; last seen headed toward Bruno’s on Lakeport Boulevard. Gone on arrival.


6:57 p.m – Contempt of court. Officer Destry Henderson responds to call about a subject who did not arrive for child exchange at Lakeport Police Department on N. Forbes Street. General services rendered.


7:28 p.m. – LPD animal control issue. Officer Dale Stoebe responded to caller who found a large white dog loose and walking in the street in the area of Russell Street and Compton Avenue. Caller will wait, associated with green Toyota Corolla. Animal returned to owner.


7:56 p.m. – Civil complaint. Officer Destry Henderson initiated activity at Lakeport Police Department regarding child custody civil issue earlier. General services rendered.


8:06 p.m. – Problem with a subject. Officer Dale Stoebe responded to report of a subject just released from jail who is reportedly stalking the caller and having his family follow the caller. Not currently onscene at the Lake County Museum on North Main Street. No orders in effect. General services

rendered.
