Lakeport Police logs: Tuesday, May 4

1:10 a.m. – Pedestrian Check. Officer initiated activity at Handy Auto Supply. Warning.


2:12 a.m.- Public disturbance at Clearlake Club, N. Main Street. A possible fight between four male subjects in front of the club. Warning.


2:46 a.m. – Public disturbance, resident on Second Street reports seeing approximately five to six male subjects fighting in the street. Arrest made.


10:28 a.m. – Shoplifter at K Mart, S. Main Street. Shoplifting of athletic shoes just occurred. Suspect is in front of the Social Security Office. White male, white tank top, black shorts, is wearing the athletic shoes. Report taken.


12:54 p.m. – Juvenile problems. Anonymous female on Manzanita and Seventh Street reports a couple of juveniles in the backyard of possibly the pink house, shooting firecrackers or a small gun. Checks OK.


1:03 p.m. – Problem with a subject at K Mart, S. Main Street. The shoplifting suspect from earlier is back in the store, in the bedding area, changing into clothing he is taking from the racks. Report taken.


2:34 p.m. – Problem with a subject on S. Main Street. Reports his wife left the residence possibly driving under the influence, in a silver Chevy sedan. Report taken.


2:42 p.m. – Problem with a subject at Lakeport Elementary School, Lange Street. Caller reports his ex-girlfriend went to the location to contact his children, in violation of a restraining order. Report taken.


2:47 p.m. – Vandalism to residence on Campbell Lane. Gone on arrival.


3:44 p.m. – Petty theft at S. Brush Street. Caller reports the theft of some copper from his rental shop. Gone on arrival.


4:27 p.m. – Petty theft at Clearlake Marina Mobile Home Park. Reports the theft of gas from a vehicle. General services rendered.


5:23 p.m. – Juvenile problems. Caller is requesting contact. Reports several juveniles skateboarding in the street at Library Park. General services rendered.


5:39 p.m. – Traffic stop, officer initiated activity at Bruno’s Foods, Lakeport Boulevard. Warning.


5:58 p.m. – Alarm, audible in front of walk-up ATM at Bank of America, N. Main Street. Prior to end of call caller advised to cancel due to proper code. Disregard from alarm company.


6:05 p.m. – Be on the lookout for possible burglary suspect for incident that occurred at Kmart on S. Main Street. Suspect flagged as active CDC for possession of controlled substance. Convicted felon, narcotics offender, gang activity. If contacted, stop and hold. General services rendered.


8:10 p.m. – California Highway Patrol assist. Officer initiated activity at Lakeport Boulevard and S. Highway 29. General services rendered.


8:53 p.m. – Family disturbance. Caller requests welfare check on neighbor at the upstairs of a two-story lavender house on corner of First and Main streets. She was possibly in a physical fight earlier with her husband who was drunk and took off in a vehicle. Caller just saw the male return with the car, is concerned that they may be in a fight. Nothing heard or seen now. General services rendered.


9:09 p.m. – Traffic Stop, officer initiated activity at N. Main Street and Fourth Street. Warning.


9:53 p.m. – Trespassing at West Lake Auto Center. Caller's ex-wife was on the property without permission. Caller wants report made. Report taken.


9:56 p.m. – Outside agency assist. Officer initiated activity at Willopoint Resort, Fourth Street. Outside agency assist.


10:58 p.m. – Alarm at Wells Fargo Bank, 11th Street. Wells Fargo Bank Security reported silent, general tamper, no response. False alarm.
