Lakeport Police logs: Thursday, Sept. 10

7:42 a.m. – Man on a scooter pulling a trailer is broken down (lost a wheel), and is stalled in the middle of the street in front of Chopsticks. Gone on arrival.


1:46 p.m. – Man and woman in a verbal argument carrying a baby in a basket. They are walking back and forth in front of Kmart. Gone on arrival.


5:25 p.m. – Caller was in an accident with a drunk drive. Insurance information exchanged, but caller believes the other person may have been drinking. General services rendered.


5:44 p.m. – Report that two vehicles are parked in the handicap parking spots with no placards at Westside Park. Citation given.


6:12 p.m. – Ongoing issues with her son reported, who is 32 years old and is continually verbally assaultive. General services rendered.


7:17 p.m. – Caller reported their 17-year-old son has not returned from school since Wednesday morning, but received a phone message from him last night.


7:48 p.m. – Report of two men hanging around empty residence at the corner. They have been standing out there for over an hour and she fears they may try to get into the vacant house. Gone on arrival.


8:28 p.m. – Report that five men are breaking bottles by the Carnegie Library; they do not appear to be fighting. Gone on arrival.


10:10 p.m. – Public disturbance reported on Lakeshore Boulevard. Woman reported that her boyfriend who has been drinking was threatening someone with a knife to his chest. The person bit the man and took the knife away. He is currently standing in front of the residence. Small children in the house. Report taken.


10:28 p.m. – Noise heard like someone kicked in a door in the area of Radio Shack. Caller walked around and looked but didn’t see anything. Area check requested.
