Lakeport Police logs: Wednesday, Sept. 2

6:06 a.m. – Malicious mischief/vandalism reported at Lakeside Lanes. Bricks thrown through front windows, possible suspect information. Report taken.


10:15 a.m. – Report of a 16-year-old female straddling the overpass carrying a sweatshirt, wearing red shirt and jeans; looking over the edge and caller things she might be thinking of jumping. Gone on arrival.


10:43 a.m. – Family disturbance reported on Lakeshore Boulevard. Report that a woman and her boyfriend are in an argument. She asked him to leave and he won’t. General services rendered.


11:40 a.m. – Caller on Forest Drive wants to talk to an officer about ongoing problems with 16-year-old daughter, who is not currently on scene. General services rendered.


2:24 p.m. – Two females physically fighting, now only verbal, at Linda’s Hallmark & Gift Gallery.


2:47 p.m. – Welfare check requested at Lakeview Apartments on Bevins. Subject hasn’t been out of her apartment in a few days, they have been knocking for two days without answer. Over the past week subject has been threatening people with knives. Gone on arrival.


5:53 p.m. – Report of a problem right before the Department of Motor Vehicles closed and then received a call from a male subject asking if they had video cameras in the business. They would just like the area checked. Checks ok.


6:35 p.m. – Spanish-speaking male said that he needs the police at Safeway. NFI due to language barrier. General services rendered.


7:26 p.m. – White male adult, 40s, leaning against tree near the clock at Museum Park; cursing and stumbling, appears to have been drinking. Report taken.
