NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION  NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission, County of Lake, State of  California, will hold a public hearing to consider MAJOR USE PERMIT (UP 19-48) and  INITIAL STUDY (IS 19-68) on Thursday, September 23, 2021, 9:05 a.m., in the Board of  Supervisors’ Chambers, 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, California. Due to the COVID-19 crisis,  meetings of the Lake County Planning Commission will be available for participation virtually via  Zoom and in the Board Chambers subject to social distancing requirements. Applicant/Owner:  Blue Oak Farms, LLC. Proposed Project: Applicant is applying for a total of 89,620 square  feet “Outdoor” canopy area within a 2.65 acres cultivation area. The project includes storage  sheds, security, portable toilets, and (2) 2,500-gallon water tanks . Location: 1756 Ogulin Canyon Road, Clearlake, CA; APN(s): 010-055-46. CITY OF CLEARLAKE PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Clearlake will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 16th, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. or soon thereafter at a regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 14050 Olympic Drive, Clearlake, CA., to consider the following:


Lisa Reynolds (representative of Mudslinger's Coffee) requested approval of Administrative Use Permit application AUP 2021-07 and corresponding environmental filing Categorical Exemption CE 2021-06 to allow a drive to through/walk up coffee shop located at 14760 Olympic Drive, further described as APN 039-570-18 in the Mixed Use (MUX) zoning district. 


The approval of the Administrative Use Permit was appealed by Diane Drake, representative of Sister’s Coffee, with a public hearing held by the Commission on August 24, 2021.  The Commission denied the appeal and upheld the Administrative Use Permit.


An appeal of the Planning Commission decision to uphold the Administrative Use Permit was filed on September 2, 2021, by Diana Drake, representative of Sister's Coffee, to be reconsidered at a public hearing by the City Council.
