THE LAKE COUNTY REGISTRAR OF VOTERS OFFICE, would like to remind the voters of Lake County that a General District Election is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, to fill the offices of Director of the following California Water Districts, County Water Districts, Water Conservation District, Fire Protection Districts, and Community Services Districts that shall become vacant on the first Friday in December, 2009 or until a successor is elected and qualifies for office. At this election, there will be certain offices of Director, as listed below, for which candidates are to be elected at large (or by division if stated):

Adams Springs Water District, 3 vacancies

Villa Blue Estates Water District, 6 vacancies

(3 vacancies- 4 year terms; 3 vacancies- 2 year terms)

Buckingham Park Water District, 3 vacancies

Callayomi County Water District, 3 vacancies

Clearlake Oaks County Water District, 4 vacancies

(2 full terms; 2- 2 year unexpired terms)

Cobb Area County Water District, 3 vacancies

Konocti County Water District, 4 vacancies

(3 full terms; 1- 2 year unexpired term)

Upper Lake County Water District, 2 vacancies

Scotts Valley Water Conservation District

Division II, 1 vacancy; Division III, 1 vacancy- 2 year unexpired term

Kelseyville Fire Protection District, 4 vacancies

(3 full terms; 1- 2 year unexpired term)

Lake County Fire Protection District, 4 vacancies

South Lake County Fire Protection District, 3 vacancies

(2 full terms; 1- 2 year unexpired term)

Anderson Springs Community Services District, 3 vacancies

Butler-Keys Community Services District, 2 vacancies

Hidden Valley Lake Community Services District, 2 vacancies

 

Voters desiring information regarding filing for any of the elective offices enumerated above may contact the Lake County Registrar of Voters Office (263-2372), Courthouse, 255 N Forbes Street, Room 209, Lakeport, CA 95453 during regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please be aware that the filing period begins on Monday, July 13, 2009 and ends on Friday, August 7, 2009 at 5:00 p.m.
