NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FOR CONSIDERATION OF THE ADOPTION OF CEQA DETERMINATION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Lake Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 9:20 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers located at 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, California 95453.

OWNER/APPLICANT: COUNTY OF LAKE, PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
REQUEST: To improve public safety by replacing the existing Chalk Mountain Road Over North Fork Cache Creek Bridge (Bridge No. 14C-0048) (Assessor’s Parcel Number 062-471-01, 02, 03, 062-481-03, 05). Bridge #14C-0048 is in the unincorporated Spring Valley in Lake County, approximately 5.4 miles northeast of State Route 20. The Community Development Department, Planning Division is processing the General Plan Conformity (GPC) application.

LOCATION: The proposed project is located at Quad: Benmore Canyon T14N, R07W, Section 12 UTM Zone 10 (39.069939, -122.584140)

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that pursuant California Code of Regulations Title 14, Chapter 3, Article 5, Section 15063, the County has prepared a Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) for the proposed project.
ALL INTERESTED PERSONS are invited to be present at the public hearing. All persons may provide public comment at the time and place indicated above. A staff report will be available for review 72 hours prior to the hearing upon request. If you challenge the action of the Planning Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Lake County Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
