Sunrise Shore Mutual Water Co.: Major use permit for upgrades to private water district

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION
AND A NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY
THE LAKE COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing to consider Major Use Permit (UP 17-16) on Thursday, February 28, 2019, 9:25 a.m., in the Board of Supervisors’ Chambers, 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA.

Applicant: BRELJE & RACE CONSULTING ENGINEERS.

Owner: Sunrise Shore Mutual Water Company.

Proposed Project: Upgrades to existing private water district to achieve compliance with State drinking water regulations and enhance fire protection capabilities.

Project includes: abandonment of 2 existing wells, drilling 1 new well, installation of new water treatment facility and structure to contain equipment, and replacement of treated water storage tanks.

Location: 6030 Sunrise Ct., 6130 & 6200 Sunrise Dr. & 5950 Peninsula Rd., Lower Lake, CA; APNs: 043-302-04 & 06. 043-310-05 & 043-303-10.

Environmental Evaluation: Mitigated Negative Declaration, (IS 17-39).
