NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on A PROPOSED RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO CONSIDER RECOMMENDING TO THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 21 OF THE LAKE COUNTY CODE TO ALLOW A REDUCTION IN THE MINIMUM RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS IN THE “R1” SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICT FROM 720 SQUARE FEET TO 360 SQUARE FEET; TO ALLOW A REDUCTION IN THE MINIMUM RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS IN THE “MH” MOBILEHOME COMBINING DISTRICT FROM 560 SQUARE FEET TO 360 SQUARE FEET; TO MODIFY THE CONDITIONS FOR A COLLECTORS PERMIT TO ALLOW A TWO CAR GARAGE AS AN ACCESSORY USE TO A PERMITTED DWELLING REGARDLESS OF THE SIZE OF THE DWELLING; TO ESTABLISH A PERMIT PROCESS FOR SMALL AND LARGE VACATION RENTALS; ADD DEFINITION OF A VACATION RENTAL; ESTABLISH A PERMIT PROCESS FOR EMERGENCY TEMPORARY DWELLINGS; UPDATE THE CONDITIONS FOR A BED AND BREAKFAST AND A BED AND BREAKFAST INN. A public hearing to consider the Resolution of Intent will be held on Thursday July 26, 2018, at 9:05 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the business of the Commission will allow in the Board of Supervisors’ Chambers located at 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, California.
