NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON RESOLUTION OF INTENT BY
THE LAKE COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on A PROPOSED RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO CONSIDER RECOMMENDING TO THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 21 OF THE LAKE COUNTY CODE TO ALLOW A REDUCTION IN THE MINIMUM RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS IN THE “R1” SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICT FROM 720 SQUARE FEET TO 360 SQUARE FEET; TO ALLOW A REDUCTION IN THE MINIMUM RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS IN THE “MH” MOBILEHOME COMBINING DISTRICT FROM 560 SQUARE FEET TO 360 SQUARE FEET; TO MODIFY THE CONDITIONS FOR A COLLECTORS PERMIT TO ALLOW A TWO CAR GARAGE AS AN ACCESSORY USE TO A PERMITTED DWELLING REGARDLESS OF THE SIZE OF THE DWELLING; TO ESTABLISH A PERMIT PROCESS FOR SMALL AND LARGE VACATION RENTALS; ADD DEFINITION OF A VACATION RENTAL; ESTABLISH A PERMIT PROCESS FOR EMERGENCY TEMPORARY DWELLINGS; UPDATE THE CONDITIONS FOR A BED AND BREAKFAST AND A BED AND BREAKFAST INN. A public hearing to consider the Resolution of Intent will be held on Thursday July 26, 2018, at 9:05 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the business of the Commission will allow in the Board of Supervisors’ Chambers located at 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, California. If you challenge the action of the Planning Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Lake County Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
