NOTICE OF PROPOSED MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION & GRADING PERMIT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Community Development Director will consider approving a GRADING PERMIT for the clearing of 40.3 acres of natural vegetation on APN009-003-57 & of 29.5 acres of natural vegetation on APN 009-022-35 to install approximately 60 acres of vineyard, & will consider adoption of a mitigated negative declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 14-02. 

The project applicant is Beckstoffer Vineyards. 

The project site is located at 7750 & 7900 State Route Highway 29, Kelseyville.

The proposed grading permit, mitigated negative declaration, & all documents referenced in the proposed mitigated negative declaration are available for review at the Community Development Department, Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA. 

The review period during which the Community Development Department will receive comments on the proposed mitigated negative declaration will start on October 1, 2015 and end on October 21, 2015.

The Community Development Director will approve this project with no public hearing if no written request for a public hearing is submitted to the Community Development Department by 5:00 P.M., October 21, 2015.

Should a timely request for hearing be filed, a public hearing will be held on October 28, 2015 at 2:00 PM in Conference Room C, 3rd Floor of the Lake County Courthouse.
