County of Lake: Middletown Library and senior center initial study

NOTICE OF PROPOSED MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION


 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Zoning Administrator will consider adopting a mitigated negative declaration based on Initial Study 10-18 and a Finding of No Significant Impact based on Environmental Assessment 10-01 for the construction of an approximately 12,300 square foot building and parking lot on property located at 21236 & 21256 Washington Street in Middletown (APN 024-395-02 & 024-411-01) to be used as a Library and Senior Center.

The proposed mitigated negative declaration and finding of no significant impact are available for review at the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California. The Zoning Administrator will approve this project with no public hearing if no written request for a public hearing is submitted to the Community Development Department by 5:00 P.M., August 30, 2010. Should a timely request for hearing be filed, a public hearing will be held on September 1, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. in Conference Room C, 3rd Floor of the Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport, CA.
