LAKEPORT, Calif. – Lakeside Health Center is offering a one-stop shop on May 20 and again on June 17 to prepare incoming kindergartners for school in the fall.
These kindergarten physicals include health screenings for vision and hearing, as well as a dental exam and varnish, immunizations and a medical exam.
“We will be making these visits fun for the kids starting school. We have goodie bags and snacks, and kids will be entered into a drawing for a new backpack,” Health center manager Kim Tangermann said.
Lakeside Health Center is one of three health centers operated by Mendocino Community Health Clinic, a locally owned nonprofit dedicated to serving all populations.
