REGIONAL: Mendocino County Mental Health Board meets Sept. 21

UKIAH, Calif. – The Mendocino County Mental Health Board will meet on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 9:30 a.m. at Social Services, Big Sur Conference Room, in Ukiah, located at 747 S. State St.


Members of the public are encouraged to attend the meeting to ask questions and give testimony during the public comment segment.

Each of the five county districts has three seats on the board. Currently there are open seats in three of the five districts for which the board is seeking interested applicants.


Mendocino County Mental Health Board meetings are on the third Wednesday of each month in various locations throughout the county. Mileage reimbursement is available to board members.

 

Registered voters can apply to become a board member for the district of their residency.

Upon receipt of applications, an interview with the board is scheduled, after which a recommendation for appointment is made to the Board of Supervisors.
