LAKE COUNTY – The Kiwanis of Lakeport are adding another round of scholarship offerings to residents of Lake County.

Following their spring offering to local high school graduates, the Kiwanis are now opening the application process to students at Mendocino Community College.

The group will offer $2,000 in scholarships – four at $500 each – with an Aug. 7 deadline application.

Particularly, any Lake County resident currently enrolled student at Mendocino College with a 3.0 GPA and having accumulated 6 units at Mendocino College is eligible for one of the four $500 scholarships.
