LAKEPORT, Calif. – This year Konocti Christian Academy was excited to donate its chapel offerings to “Lake County Helping Hands,” an outreach of food distribution to the needy of our county.
All funds received by Lake County Helping Hands are used to purchase food items at a very reduced rate through the Redwood Empire Food Bank.
As a school the students and staff contributed $500 and presented the check to Lalo and Patricia, the directors, at the final chapel on June 2.
In the last 11 years, KCA has donated more than $8,000 to local and international organizations to help with physical, educational and spiritual needs.
Konocti Christian Academy is located on the Lake County Fairgrounds in Lakeport and continues to offer quality Christian education for students in kindergarten through eighth grade, which includes challenging academics, high standards in character, biblical training and a low teacher-to-student ratio.
