LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lake County Friends of Mendocino College Governing Council will host college President/Superintendent Dr. Arturo Reyes during its meeting on Thursday, March 5.
The group will meet from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Room 7050 at the Mendocino College Lake Center, 2565 Parallel Drive, Lakeport.
Items on the agenda include confirming the election of the chair, vice chair and treasurer before the information from Reyes, who will discuss enrollment and other matters.
There also will be reports on the Lake Center and the Friends' financial report, a reunion of former Lake County students, collaboration and fundraising efforts and ideas, the report from the college foundation and an informational presentation from college agriculture instructor and director, Jim Xerogeanes.
The Lake County Friends of Mendocino College Governing Council includes Chair Wilda Shock, Vice Chair Gloria Flaherty, Treasurer Peggy Campbell, and members Judy Conard, Brock Falkenberg, Dave Geck, Jamey Gill, Wally Holbrook, Lori McGuire, Trena Pauly, Cameron Reeves, Margaret Silveira, Rebecca Southwick, Christopher Taliaferro and John Tomkins, along with college staff Katie Fairbairn, Steve Hixenbaugh.

The board is set to meet next from noon to 1:30 p.m. April 9, also at the Lake Center.
