LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Lake County has many great attributes, one being generosity and willingness to support programs to better the community.
Due to the outpouring of kindness and generosity, the Imagination Library will continue to succeed and write the Book of Literacy for Lake County’s youngest residents.
Contributions to the book of Literacy have been made by HJ and DK Strickler, Anthony and Linda DeBolt, Clifford and Lois Morgan, S. Gatton, Mike Bielenberg, and in Memory of Lynn Fegan, Mark Lockhart and Barbara Toy.
In memory of Lynn Fegan – a Lake County resident, reader and philanthropist who died in November – 84 books will be delivered to the homes of children registered in the program.
The Book of Literacy campaign also has written a lasting story in the Book of Literacy, providing 336 books delivered to the homes of children registered in the Imagination Library over the course of 2015.
The Imagination Library provides books year-round for families registered in Lake County.
