LOWER LAKE, Calif. – The Konocti Unified School District Board of Trustees will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 5.
The meeting will begin at 5:45 p.m. in the Carol McClung Conference Center, 9430 B Lake St. in Lower Lake.

Timed items include a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. regarding the possible adoption of the textbook, “Give Me Liberty, An American History, AP Edition, Third Edition,” for use in grades ninth through 12.
At 6:35 p.m., the board will hold another public about the use of redevelopment funds.
Lake County Superintendent of Schools Wally Holbrook will present the Lake County Office of Education Annual Report to the board at 6:40 p.m.
The board will discuss curriculum including “Beginning Guitar,” “Music Theory and Analysis I,” “Floral Design” and “Landscape and Nursery Practices” for students in grades ninth through 12.
There also will be discussion of an expulsion case and approval of interdistrict attendance agreements as recommended by staff.
Under personnel items, the board will approve the new job description for transportation clerk/dispatcher, and will consider requests for extended leave from three employees.
The next meeting of the Board of Trustees will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 19.
