LAKE COUNTY – Students from Lower Lake, Upper Lake and Middletown High Schools competed, along with students from seven other schools in Sonoma and Mendocino counties, at the Region 1 Skills USA competition, a vocational skills contest that was held in Santa Rosa on Jan. 26.
Students who won gold medals are eligible to compete in the statewide contest in Fresno, which takes place April 10 through 13.
