Carlé Chronicle: Welcome to the new school year

carleheader

Welcome back, Carlé!

Timothy Mcguire and Kasandra Colwell, are writing the Carlé Chronicle this year.

In this week’s Carlé Chronicle, I am going to discuss the beginning of the school year, new students, last year’s sixth grading period’s perfect attendance winner and gold and silver level students, student of the week, upcoming events, and changes to the school.

First I am going to discuss the students who were awarded gold and silver level before summer break.

Gold level students include Kasandra Colwell, Timothy Mcguire, Alyssa Peterson, Roxie Purdum-White and Lucas Stickel.

Silver level students include Aaron Beecher, Jacob Davis, Emilio Gonzales, Jeramy Isom, Kobi Minard, Sienna Norton, Nathaniel Oakley, Dane Pearson, Esparanza Roberts, Chelsea Schloesser, Chenoa Schmidt, Andrew Subjack, Sarah Terry and Lance Thurston.

Congratulations gold and silver level students!

The perfect attendance for last grading period was awarded to Kasandra Colwell.

This school year Carlé is welcoming a selection of new students. These new students are Kelly Alvarez, Gage Beck, Kevin Fisher, Doug Chambless, Cory Gardner, Alyssa Garnett, Savanna Golden, Jeremy Hunter, George King-Walker, Troy Lamburth, Kobi Mathies, Jazmine Mcgee, Fred Miller, Melyssa Moreno, DeAndre Morris, Brittany Parenteau-Larsen, Isaiah Piazza, Ernesto Rodriguez, Daniel Salvante, Isaac Soto, Roman Suarez, Janessa Teixeira, Monica Troche, Blake Von Rekowski, Charles Warren, Amaree Whiley, Yasmine Wilcox and Alvin Wilder.

Welcome to Carlé and we hope you all love it here!

Not only are there new students, there is also new staff.

We have a new morning server named Gail and Mr. Wickersham is now our vice principal.

To help welcome Mr. Wickersham and Gail, plaques were made for them. Sabrina Farnan made a plaque for our new vice principal and Lance Thurston made one for Gail. Welcome to the Carlé family, we hope you feel at home!

On the subject of students: I’m now going to announce student of the week for our first week back at school. Congratulations Sabrina Farnan! Keep up the good work!

Sabrina was also this week’s Chily winner. She chose a stuffed puppy in a tall mug; which she gave to the school’s one on one para Guein Bouscal, who does that and so much more for our school.

Due to changes in schedule in the district, Carlé no longer has an afternoon bus. No need to fear, though! If you have no way home, Carlé can provide Lake Transit bus passes to you. All that you need to do to get these passes is fill out a simple form from the office and give it to Barbara in the office.

If you want to show off your new school to your parents and siblings, show up to open house on Sept. 26.

Timothy Mcguire and Kasandra Colwell are students at Carlé Continuation High School in Lower Lake, Calif.
