LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lake County First 5 Commission will hold its next regular meeting on Wednesday, May 22.

The meeting will begin at 2:30 p.m. in the Lake County Office of Education’s Kesey Room, 1152 S. Main St. in Lakeport.

Commissioners will hold three public hearings – on the long-range financial plan, approval of the fiscal year 2013-14 annual budget and the First 5 California 2011-12 annual report.

They also will will adoption a resolution proclaiming 2013 as “The Year of the Child.”

Shelly Mascari will present the Lake County Childcare Planning Council Strategic Plan.

During the meeting the commission also will receive committee updates, commissioner reports and the executive director’s report, and take public comment.
