LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The Lake County Association of Realtors Scholarship Committee takes pride in raising funds annually which are disbursed in $1,000 increments to all five local high schools.

Here is a list of the student senior recipients in 2012:

• Denise Jimenez Tapia, Clear Lake High School;
• Krystina Riccio, Middletown High School;
• Cory Johnson, Kelseyville High School;
• Katelynn Meade-Malley, Lower Lake High School;
• Jordan Austin, Upper Lake High School.

Because of generous items donated by local merchants, the association is able to hold a silent auction at its December installation dinner.  

Later in the year, yard sale items which are accumulated throughout the year are brought out for sale the last weekend in April at Noble Realty in Upper Lake. This is a huge event you won’t want to miss.

The association wishes Leslie Kirchner, C-21 Middletown, a warm bon voyage, as she leaves the Lake County real estate industry after a successful career. Her tireless efforts were extremely influential for years in raising scholarship money annually.
