Carlé Chronicle: About to enter cram time

carleheader

Teacher Alan Siegel's flag contest has started and many flags have already been printed. Students such as Austin Weldon, Desiree Bauer, Charles Trujillo and  Dylan Ward have already printed excellent flags.

On April 5, students Stevie Fallin and Sean Foss showed their portfolios to friends and family. Congratulations to both of these soon to be Carlé graduates!

Carlé is now halfway through its fifth grading period. The rest of school will be a large cram time to finish classes, prepare for and take the STAR test, and finish anything that needs to be done before school is over.

Student Tonya Smith has made a plaque for Graduated student Rebecca Englander. Englander comes to Carlé on a regular basis to help out and teacher Siegel commissioned a plaque to be made as thanks to her.

On May 3 Carlé and Blue Heron schools will be holding their open houses. Blue heron's will start at 5 pm and Carlé's will start at 6 p.m.

All of the parents at Carlé will be involved in a site council meeting so they can be a part of how the school is run. Afterwards everybody will take part in a potluck dinner.

The students of the week this week and last were Nura Brown and Mayra Pantoja. These two students always work hard and they defiantly deserve to be awarded.

On April 23, students Jade Fox and Jacob Grove will be showing their portfolios. Then on April 26 students Chantilly Pannell, Kevin Rampone and Robert Jones will all be presenting their portfolios.

The entire staff is wishing best of luck to all these future graduates.

That is all for now, have a great week!

Jade Fox is a student at Carlé Continuation High School in Lower Lake, Calif.
