LAKEPORT, Calif. – Konocti Christian Academy is proud to announce the winners of our “Renaissance of Reading” for the second quarter.

The top readers in each classroom are:

• First grader Kameron Helmer, reading 3,050 minutes;
• Second grader Peyton Ewing, reading 8,030 minutes;
• Fifth grader Anna DelBosco, reading 3,777 pages; and
• Sixth grader Jon VanDerWall, reading 1,162 pages.

Congrats to all of the school's outstanding readers.

Students also are reading to fulfill the requirements for the “Read to Succeed” program, through which they can each earn a free ticket to Six Flags Amusement Park.

At this time KCA’s Kindergarten/first grade class and its second/third grade class are full, but they still have openings in the grades fourth through eighth.
