LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Local students are encouraged to apply for two $1,000 scholarships offered by the Sierra Club Lake Group.

The group will award the scholarships to graduating Lake County seniors interested in pursuing careers that correspond to Sierra Club's goals of “Exploring, Enjoying, and Protecting” the earth.

Applications are due on April 7, and winners will be announced during the “We Love Tules” Film Festival gala and April 18.
