LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Attention all seventh and eighth grade girls – registration is now open to attend the annual Sonoma County Expanding Your Horizons Conference.

The event will be held on Saturday, April 2, at Santa Rosa Junior College.

Preregistration is required.

Students can choose from a variety of workshops that include “Let’s build a paper dome,” “Designing a sustainable home,” “Come fly with us,” “What does a veterinarian do” and more.

The day consists of hands-on workshops that foster awareness of the wide range of career options for women in math, science, engineering and technology.

Space is limited so please register early.

The cost of attendance is $15 per person.

Students must provide their own transportation. Lunch is provided.
