MARYSVILLE, Calif. – The Yuba Community College District (YCCD) Board of Trustees held a special meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 23, to review the draft chancellor profile.

The draft profile was developed via input from open campus forums in Marysville, Woodland and Clearlake with faculty, staff, student and community involvement.

The 15-member representative search committee convened to review the compilation of input received, had discussion, and produced the draft profile which was presented to the board at its meeting.

Development of the chancellor profile is only the first step in what will be a five month or longer process to identify the next Chancellor for the Yuba Community College District.

The profile describes the qualities and characteristics sought in the next district chancellor and the challenges and opportunities that leader will face in the coming years.

Further input is continuing to be solicited from anyone wishing to provide such.

The YCCD Board of Trustees will adopt a final profile at their regularly scheduled board meeting at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 2. Interested community members can provide comments on the profile at that time as well.
