LOWER LAKE, Calif. – Family Science Night will take place at Lower Lake Elementary from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24.

Participating in the evening of fun and education will be Taylor Observatory with telescopes and a presentation in the library, Lake County Water Resources with an invasive mussel display, floating Islands West with a mini floating island (like the one at Clarks Island in Clearlake Oaks), Mrs. Langdon will have a worm table and Lake Resource will put on a stream table exhibit.

There also will be hands-on activities and demos with Mrs. Rogers and her students, a free Forestry Foundation bookmarks and refreshments, and Chico usable grocery bags for sale to raise funds for the seventh and eighth grade science.

Lower Lake Elementary School is located at 9240 Lake St.
