Carlé will miss you; there will never be another class like it.

“I have to say, out of all of my years in high school this year was my favorite. I enjoyed coming to school every day and all of the students and teachers were wonderful. Thank you to all of the staff for helping me to graduate a year early,” said Kara Boyce, one of Carlé's graduates.

“This year has been full of ups and downs, friends come and go but one thing remains the same; the entire staff does everything in their power to make sure you succeed. This school could not be more wonderful or hands-on. I would not change a single thing about Carlé,” said Andrea McMullen, Carlé's columnist.

“I loved being here this year, the staff could not have been more generous. Even though I am glad that I graduated, I will miss Carlé,” said graduate Paul Silsby.

“This year has been truly indescribable. I can not begin to explain how amazing this school is,” said Holly Brumback.

“Another outstanding year at Carlé high school! Carlé has once again been recognized as one of the finest schools in the state by receiving a six-year accreditation,” said Principal Ed Zander of the 2009-10 school year.

“Six years are hard to get, but Carlé has received its third consecutive six-year term,” Zander said. “The staff at Carlé continues to find ways to improve and consistently graduates 90 percent of its students. We are also extremely proud of our secretary Barbara Dye for winning District Employee of the Year; the entire district recognized her for her dedication to students and the Konocti Unified School District.

“Carlé also had its first Odyssey of the Mind team who worked very hard this year and made it to the

state competition for the Redwood finals,” Zander continued. “Ashland trip was another great success this year. Carlé students showed once again why they are some of the best students in the county.”

“I was so honored and excited to receive this award! I feel so fortunate to work with so many great people and with such kind students; this award is icing on a very sweet cake!” said our secretary Barbara Dye on winning District Employee of the year.

This article is the last of the year and Carlé's way of saying goodbye to the 2009-10 school year, and hello to the 2010-11 year!

We wish everyone a safe and healthy summer and see you all next year!
