The event will take place at three locations: Clear Lake Riviera Community Association, Riviera Shopping Center and Lakeview Properties.
At the Clear Lake Riviera Community Association, located at 9689 Soda Bay Road, there will be an open house, cookie painting, refreshments and more.
The Riviera Shopping Center, located on Soda Bay Road near Fairway Drive, will have photos with Santa, carolers, refreshments, massage, caroling and a book signing.
Lakeview Properties, 9781 Point Lakeview Road, will host a pet parade and costume contest at 2 p.m., as well as pet photos with Santa. Fresh cut Christmas trees will be for sale.
There also will be pet adoption opportunities. Food donations for animal rescue also will be accepted.
Visit all three locations and you could win one of many prizes.
Participating merchants and organizations include Rivera Foods, Accents on the Lake/Here for the Holidays, Common Grounds, Riviera Fitness, Richmond Park Bar & Grill, Lakeview Properties, Furry Tails and Clear Lake Riviera Community Association.

There is no major roadwork scheduled for Lake County through Thursday, Dec. 9.
MENDOCINO COUNTY
Highway 1
– Replacement of signal heads from the junction of Routes 1/20 to Chestnut Street will continue. Work hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., weekdays. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays. Contractor – Republic ITS of Novato.
Highway 101
– A metal beam guardrail repair project at various locations from the El Roble Overcrossing to 2.3 miles north of Reeves Canyon Road will continue. Work hours are 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., weekdays. Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction of travel. Motorists may experience minor traffic slowdowns. Contractor – Wahlund Construction of Eureka.
– A pavement repair project from Gobbi Street to Uva Drive will continue. Work hours are 8 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Sunday evening through Friday afternoon. Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction of travel. Motorists may experience minor traffic slowdowns. Contractor – Granite Construction, Incorporated, of Ukiah.
– A metal beam guardrail repair project at various locations from 2.2 miles south of Ridgewood Ranch Road to the Haehl Overhead will continue. Work hours are 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., weekdays. Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction of travel. Motorists may experience minor traffic slowdowns. Contractor – Wahlund Construction of Eureka.
– Pavement striping from Steel Lane to 2.5 miles south of Rattlesnake Summit will continue. Work hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays. Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction of travel. Motorists may experience minor traffic slowdowns. Contractor – Mercer-Fraser Co. of Eureka.
Highway 222
– Replacement of the Russian River Bridge will continue. Work hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays. One-way traffic control with a temporary signal will be in effect 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays during work hours and five-minute delays at other times. Contractor – CC Myers of Rancho Cordova.

COBB, Calif. – The Mountain Lions Club of Cobb presented their final fundraising check of the year to Cobb Elementary School's new principal, Shelly Tan at a rally on Monday, Nov. 29.
Helping raise funds for many Lake County nonprofits has made 2010 a busy and productive year for the Mountain Lions.
Success has resulted from having rummage sales coinciding with pancake and biscuit and gravy breakfasts.
In conjunction with the annual Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast a rummage sale for the Middletown Senior Center was held. Senior center staff worked the rummage sale and raised over $2,400 enabling the center to keep the Meals on Wheels program operating longer than expected despite budget cuts.
The July 4th Biscuit and Gravy Breakfast sponsored an estate sale to benefit Lake County's Safe House. Safe House board members and volunteers ran the sale and raised over $2,200.
The annual Labor Day Pancake Breakfast helped the Acme Foundation raise $500 to help continue their work providing monetary assistance for veterinary expenses of seriously ill cats and dogs belonging to low income seniors and the disabled.
One hundred percent of rummage sale proceeds went to the participating nonprofit organizations and breakfast proceeds went to the Mountain Lions Club to help with overhead expenses incurred by the Cobb Community Center, also know as “The Little Red Schoolhouse.”
The sixth annual Ho-Down Rib Dinner to benefit Cobb Elementary School was held in October, with the result being the $500 check presented to the school.
Most recently the Mountain Lions Club committed $500 to the Light Up A Life Celebration sponsored by Hospice Services of Lake County.
In total The Cobb Mountain Lions Club assisted the important Lake County resources mentioned with more than $6,000.
The Mountain Lions Club thanks all who donated and/or participated in these events, which contributed to successful results.

They will be ready to wrap all of your holiday purchases.
All donations for their wrapping services will go directly to support the city's Westshore Pool.
