KELSEYVILLE – The Sons of Norway, Vikings of Lake Lodge will hold their monthly Heritage and Culture night on Wednesday, April 21.
This will be a Swedish Night with a dinner of split pea soup with ham, bread and cheese along with Swedish pancakes served with lingonberries.
Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. with a charge of $5.
At 7 p.m. there will be guest speakers.
The meeting will be held at the Galilee Lutheran Church Community Center, located at 8860 Soda Bay Road in Kelseyville.

LAKE COUNTY – On Saturday, April 17, Supervisor Jeff Smith and challenger for his District 2 seat, Joyce Overton, will join Herb Gura in the studio for one of the trademark on-the-air debates “The Law Show” hosts.
The show will take place from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 17.
Tune in to 88.1 FM from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. this Saturday and hear what these candidates have to say.

LAKEPORT – Gubernatorial candidate Larry Naritelli will be in Lakeport on Saturday, April 17, from noon to 2 p.m.
Naritelli will speak to all citizens who attend the meeting. The majority of the time will be devoted to questions and answers.
The meeting will be held at Rancho De La Fuente, 2290 Soda Bay Road in Lakeport.
This event is being sponsored by the Lake County Tea Party Patriots. The Lake County Tea Party Patriots is a grass roots group that believes in:
Fiscal responsibility;
Follow the Constitution;
Free markets;
Educating the citizens of the community.
The group is nonpartisan and will NOT endorse any candidates.
All other gubernatorial candidates have been given the same invitation. Naritelli is the first candidate to accept the invitation to speak to the citizens.

CLEARLAKE – The Knights of Columbus, Queen of Peace Council will host the “Beast Feed” this Friday, April 16.
Cocktails will be served at 5 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m. at Queen of Peace Hall, 13544 Uhl Avenue at
Victory Lane in Clearlake.
It will feature individual stews of wild pig, venison, elk, caribou and wild turkey.
The cost is $15 per person. Tickets will be available at the door.
This will be the official start of the group's Beast Feed Raffle. Prizes include first prize, a Remington 700SPS .243 Rifle with Simmons scope, value $800; second prize, Steiner 12X40 Predator Pro binoculars, value $350; third prize, Marlin 925 22LR rifle, value $235.
The donation per raffle ticket is $20. The raffle will be held at the Knights of Columbus' Sportsmen
Breakfast, which starts at 9 a.m. July 17. Cocktails will be available, with the drawing to be held at 10 a.m., also at the church hall.
