LAKEPORT, Calif. – Donna Thibeau, born in San Bernardino on May 31, 1937, passed away peacefully at her Lakeport home Aug. 11, 2015.

Donna moved to Sonoma in 1951 where she attended Sonoma Valley High School. She loved playing girls softball and later passed down the love of ball to her grandchildren.

She fell in love with her high school sweetheart Vaughn Thibeau. They married in November of 1954.

Together they raised four sons, Kevan, Lenn, Glenn and Mark. Donna was blessed to have had 32 years of marriage with her husband Vaughn who preceded her in death in 1986.

Donna was not only a loving daughter, wife and mother but had an amazing outlook on life.

She was very kind and had many dear friends she held close to her heart. She loved her Bay Area teams and was a faithful 49er fan and a huge San Francisco Giants fan.

She enjoyed being outdoors and had an outpouring love for her animals as well as gambling occasionally.

Later in life, Donna moved to Lakeport where she had most of her family around her.

She was blessed with six grandchildren and later was blessed with seven great-grandchildren who called her “Old Ma.”

She was and always will be loved and adored by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.

Donna is survived by her two sisters, Teri Fry and Jeanne Ford and brother, Gary Bauer; her four sons, Kevan (Betty) Thibeau, Lenn, Glen, and Mark Thibeau; her six grandchildren, Stephani (Brian) Gilliland, Shannon (Rick) Cook, Jacob (Jaymie) Thibeau, Josh, Shanae and Ben; her great-grandchildren, Max, Liberty, Emma, Zoe, Tyler, Laynie and Ivy.

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Jerry Jay Edwards, a longtime resident of Lake County, passed away August 11, 2015.

He was loved by many and lived a great life. He was a great husband, and father.

A memorial service will be held at the Kelseyville Lions Club at 3 p.m. Thursday Aug. 20.

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Koltyn James Walsh was born on June 19, 2015, at 3:11 a.m. to his parents Brittny Sutton and Tyler Walsh.

He weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces.

He blessed his family with seven weeks that gave us a lifetime of love.

Koltyn is deeply loved by his mommy and daddy, his big sister Makenzee, his grandparents, and many others.

Koltyn will always be our precious baby boy and Makenzee’s little brother, and we will hold him again in heaven one day.

LAKEPORT, Calif. – David Snow of Lakeport passed away Aug. 13, 2015.

He is survived by his wife, Aly; and children, Ciarra and Casey.

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Gary Wayne Mitchell, 54, passed away in peace on Aug. 2, 2015, while surrounded by family.

His spirit is carried on by his girlfriend, four children, seven grandchildren, father, two sisters, and numerous family and friends.

Gary's career included being an award-winning project manager for Nacom Corp. and an invaluable ranch hand at The Stone Ranch in High Valley.

He was a highly regarded carpenter, electrician and plumber, and could fix anything he put his hands on.

He was a strong man who found great joy in making those around him happy and was always willing to try new things.

He had a notorious affinity for fireworks, absolute love of animals and lived life fully until his passing.

Gary will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of a life well-lived, will be  held in true Gary fashion – with pizza and beer – from noon to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at Round Table Pizza, 828 Gray Ave, Yuba City.

KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – Elizabeth G. Burnside of Kelseyville went to play at the big “Farkle” table up above on Aug. 3, 2015.

She was born on Feb 24, 1924, to Harrison and Winifred Gevaart and raised in Delevan and Milwaukee, Wisc.,with her brother, Goodrich.

While attending the University of Wisconsin, she met her love for life, James P. Burnside while he was in the Navy and attending school.

They married and had two children, John Burnside and Elizabeth “Belle” Eleen.

James and John preceded Elizabeth in passing.

She worked as a medical records transcriptionist for 15 years at Sutter Lakeside Hospital. She also worked for Dr. Stanley and Dr. Farley among other physicians for 10-plus years after leaving Sutter Lakeside.

Her loss will be felt by many, especially her daughter, “Belle” Eleen; granddaughter, Kimberly A. Ritchie; great-grandchildren, Heather Belle Pemberton and Keith Pemberton; step-grandson, John D. Eleen (Molly) Kennedy and Madison Eleen.

She also leaves behind Konocti Lioness and swim mates at Quail Run, and of course her Saturday Farkle Friends will miss her rolling those dice.
