On June 22, 2022, retired Lake County Sheriff’s Office Captain Glenn Perkins passed away at his home in La Verkin, Utah, at age 86.

Captain Perkins was hired as a deputy sheriff around 1964. He climbed through the ranks of sergeant, lieutenant and finally captain.

He attended the FBI National Academy in 1981 and graduated with Class #124 in March of that same year. He spent his entire career with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

On Sept. 11, 1992, Captain Perkins retired from law enforcement after a long and honorable career. He moved to La Verkin, Utah, where he lived until his passing.

He is survived by his wife Norma and children Zane and Tavis Perkins.
