LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Teri was born Aug. 12, 1946, and left us on March 14, 2018.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, two daughters and their spouses, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

She was very outgoing and adventurous and always up for a new challenge.

Teri had a pilot's license, held a broker's license, rode motorcycles, loved to fish and, most of all, loved helping others.

Over several years, while raising her own daughters, she took in foster kids. Most of them were teenagers with a lot of anger and just needed to know they were with someone that cared. At times, she was the only one that could calm them down when they lost control.

She was a peacemaker and always put others before herself.

She loved Thanksgiving and always made sure everyone had a place to go; and if they didn't, well, they were at her home! It wouldn't be uncommon to find new faces at the dinner table. She always said, "There is plenty of food, and we can make room."

If you needed someone to talk to or needed advice without the fear of being judged, she was your someone. She always watched over us, and now she is doing it from Heaven … she will be greatly missed by everyone fortunate enough to have met her, and even more by her family.
