LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Jane Ruddock was born April 7, 1928, in Finley, Calif., to William Guyer and Florace Reynolds.

She grew up in Finley and graduated from Clear Lake High School. She married Rodney Ruddock in May of 1946.

In her younger years, she enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and anything outdoors. She was an excellent seamstress and made many of her, and her children’s clothing.

In addition to her church and family, she enjoyed traveling and most crafts, especially embroidery and cross-stitch. She made many beautiful cross-stitch pictures.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 54 years, Rodney; son, Steve and sister, Jean Abell.

She is survived by her children, Bill Ruddock and Jan Calogianes (Duane Mullen); grandson, Tim (Lisa) Calogianes; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary on Thursday, April 5, from 6 to 7 p.m.

A memorial service will be held at Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary on Friday, April 6, at 11 a.m.
