Janette was a 48-year member of the Gideon's Auxiliary, Lakeport Camp supporting Clarence's passion to spread God's word. She loved to sing and was a member of both the church choir and Sweet Adelines.

She enjoyed walking the beaches at Ft. Bragg looking for driftwood for her wood carving. She also enjoyed drawing portraits, writing poetry, gardening, collecting bottles, creating and repairing clothing, and crochet work.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Feb. 16, at 1 p.m. at the Grace Evangelical Free Church, 6716 Live Oak Drive, Kelseyville. Following the service there will be a light refreshment reception.
