Tootsie Rodriguez

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Tootsie (Ismael Manuel) Rodriguez was born on March 17, 1970, and passed on Dec. 1, 2017.
He is survived by son, Devon; daughters, Micaela and Amaya; father, Isaias Rodriguez; brothers, Robert Ponce, Johnny Ponce, Emo Pasalo and Elias (Pony) Rodriguez; sisters, Lenore Garcia, Vera Calvillo and Marcia Rosas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that he adored, and they loved him.
Tootsie worked for Sierra Nevada Construction for 20 years as an equipment operator and was a tribal member of Big Valley Rancheria.
His family most fondly remembers his break dancing, old school music, giving nicknames to the family, his fun-loving attitude, love for his children, family and friends.
He is now reunited with his mother, Florence Rodriguez, and brother, Isaias Rodriguez Jr.
To Tootsie: We will always love you and you will be missed tremendously. Until we meet again brother, may our Lord and Savior wrap his loving arms around you and welcome you as you join up with our loving family that has passed before us.
Visitation will be held at Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary on Friday, Dec. 8, starting at 11 a.m. with the funeral service at 3 p.m.
