FORT BRAGG, Calif. – Rose M. Ford, formerly of Clearlake Oaks, passed away suddenly in her Fort Bragg home Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017. She was 74.

She was born in Little Rock, Ark., to Pelham and Bernice Vines on June 5, 1943.

Rose graduated beauty college in the 1960s and went on to become a wife, mother, beautician, artist, chef and caretaker of others.

She is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Berry (Scott Lemon) and Karen Peterson (Roger); her beloved furry and feathered companions, Sammi and Tweety; and many friends in Fort Bragg and Clearlake Oaks.

Private services will be held by family at one of Rose’s favorite local beaches.
