LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – In memory of a good man, Marvin Doyle.

Marvin was born in December 1933 at Tacoma, Wash., and passed away suddenly in August 2017.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

In August of 1957, he married Marjorie Smith and they bought their first house in Pacifica before moving to San Jose in 1960.

Marvin and Marjorie had four children, Denise, Connie, June and Marvin; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

They retired to Lucerne in September of 1995.

Marvin will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary on Friday, Aug. 18, from 2 to 4 p.m. with military funeral honors at 3 p.m.
