Tyler Allen Duncan

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Tyler Allen Duncan, age 25, passed away peacefully at UCSF on June 30, 2017, due to complications from Graft Versus Host Disease.

He was born on Feb. 21, 1992 to Reggie and Valerie Duncan of Upper Lake, Calif.

Tyler survived leukemia in 2014 and was a fighter to the end. His father, who passed away in November 2012, was there to meet him.

Tyler is survived by his mother, Valerie; sister, Maia; and his three companions, his dogs.

Tyler had the heart and soul of a saint; he would always help everyone he met and would always give encouraging words to people.

He loved spending time with his family, remote control cars, target shooting, watching cooking shows, car shows, soccer, basketball, gaming and collecting shot glasses.

Tyler attended Upper Lake schools and was a 2011 Upper Lake High School graduate.

Everyone he met was touched by his smile and his kindness and he will be missed. We love you and we will miss you.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Upper Lake Cemetery on Friday, July 14, at 11 a.m. A celebration of Tyler’s life will follow at Upper Lake High School Cafeteria.
