CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Shirley Ann Perea entered into rest in Clearlake on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016.
A native of Van Dyke, Michigan, Shirley had been a resident of Lake County for 10 years.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Queen of Peace Women’s Guild. Shirley lovingly “worked” as Nana to her granddaughter, Valerie Antus.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 25 years, Alfredo Perea of Lower Lake; son, Scott Antus and his wife Nathalie, and granddaughter Valerie Antus, all of Clearlake; brothers, Donald Liford (Joan) of Dundee, MI, Hubert Liford (Elouise) of Monroe, MI, Ronnie Liford (Sherry) of Newport, MI, and Danny Liford (Belinda) of Monroe, MI; sisters, Sharlene Olsen, Sue Stump (Jim) all of Monroe, MI; and many friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, three sisters, two nieces, one nephew, four brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, one great-nephew and one-great niece.
Friends and family are warmly invited to attend a memorial Mass at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Clearlake on Saturday, Jan. 30, beginning at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow in the reception hall. There will be another memorial service in the spring in Monroe, Mich.
