Michael Wayne Wojcieszak
July 27, 1983 – May 18, 2015

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – My best friend, my son, passed away quietly in his sleep.

Michael is survived by his beautiful wife, Samantha, and his two miracle boys, Shaun and Evan; his mother, Deana, and father, Kenny Parlet; sister, Jamie Moreno, sister Ariana and brother, Aaron Parlet; grandma, Susan and Uncle Darren Wojcieszak; best friends, Donnie, Eric and father Tony Moreno; his in-laws, Dennis and Shelly Stotts; sisters, Amanda and Nicole; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and animals.

Michael served our country in the Navy for about 4 years. He saw many places and learned many things. He was very proud to serve his country.

Michael was a big “teddy bear” with a lion's voice. He would be right there for anyone who needed help without a second thought. He was a storyteller who liked to argue and then giggle when he got you worked up.

He was an amazing cook and recipe creator. We will miss his food and his go-big style.

He loved his children, “all of them,” and was a great father. He laughed and played as best he could for a while. He loved to play more than anything else. He always said that life was to short to worry about cleaning, let's go camping instead!

Michael did everything in a “big” way. He loved “big,” cooked “big,” laughed “big” and lived large all of his life.

He loved his wife and his sons so much it hurt, but he was a momma's boy for sure!

We will never forget the times we had. The loss is great in a “big” way. That was Michael's style; so we have to giggle, love an enjoy each other in a “big way” too! Love, Momma.

The Grace of God took my son's life. I don't understand but it cuts like a knife. The sorrow is great and won't go away. I will weep and weep till the end of my days. – Deana

Graveside service will be held at Upper Lake Cemetery at 11 a.m. Friday, June 5, and continue at Alpine Park in Lucerne. Bring your stories, food and drink and go “big.”
