John Paul Clarke

KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – John Paul Clarke, 16 years old, of Kelseyville California died on May 11, 2015.

He was born on April 21, 1999, and lovingly adopted at birth by John R. Clarke and Paula R. Dhanda.

In his short life he was loved by everyone with whom he came in contact.

He expressed a kindness and thoughtfulness in his own quiet way to his family, friends and teachers.

His sense of humor and quick wit brightened many lives. It was often stated what a polite young man he was.

John Paul displayed enthusiasm for many sports especially football and tennis. He revered his coaches and learned important life lessons from them as well as his team mates. During football games the chant “John Paul, John Paul” often was heard.

John Paul was the only beloved son of John R. Clarke and Paula R. Dhanda, and loved brother of Jasmin Clarke. He was a special grandchild of Monica Bradshaw, and Harriette and Klaus Stricker.

John Paul will be dearly missed and held in our hearts eternally.

Visitation will be held at Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary, 1625 N. High St. in Lakeport, on Thursday, May 14, from 3 to 7 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary at 11 a.m. Friday, May 15.

There also will be a remembrance rally for students at Kelseyville High School on Thursday, May 14, from 12:20 to 12:55 p.m. on the football field.

Family prefers memorials be made to Worldwide Healing Hands, 5685 Main St., Kelseyville CA 95451, where John Paul Clarke contributed many hours as a volunteer.
