Arline Moore

Arline Ellen Moore

April 25, 1932 – Dec. 20, 2013

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Arline was sent off surrounded by family members and received by Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior to her new home.

Arline was born in Chico, Calif., to her parents, Burt and Lillian Jordon. Her sister Beverly, brother Bill and her son Ricky preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sister Eleanor and children, David, Jennie, John, Ron, Bert and Donna, and many grandchildren, all of which she loved with all her heart.

Arline spent her life doing for others and working with Alzheimer's patients as an in-home health caregiver. She spent time as a waitress in a hospital caring for those that needed help.

She raised her children to be responsible citizens.

She had been a member of the Native Daughters and Rebecca's Club. She's been president of these clubs and held other positions. Some of her fondest memories were the fellowship and the dressing up in fancy outfits for the events that the clubs would hold.

A memorial service will be held in her honor at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at the First Southern Baptist Church of Lakeport, of which she had been a member.
